The education of a student is a responsibility shared by the student, his/her parents, and the school. It is vital for parents to be fully informed about requirements for graduation and the courses available at Liverpool High School. We expect that this publication will be helpful as we work together to develop an appropriate academic program for each student. Teacher recommendations, standardized test scores, past performance, interests, and future plans are considered in the course selection process. Upon completion of the student/counselor programming conference, students will bring home a copy of the Program Planning Worksheet. This sheet will indicate the student’s progress toward meeting graduation requirements, courses recommended by teachers, and courses actually selected for the upcoming school year. Counselors are available to answer questions about the programming process as well as what might be required to achieve your educational and career goals.
