Matott Returns to LHS Annex to Talk About the Weather
Monday, March 7, 2016
CNY Central meteorologist and Liverpool High School graduate Molly Matott recently stopped by the LHS Annex to talk with students about what she calls “her dream job.”
Annex students, who learn about weather and meteorology during their Earth science classes, had the opportunity to ask one of Syracuse’s newest meteorologists about the different aspects of her career and what she loves about the weather.
Matott also spoke about her experiences at the State University of New York at Oswego where she graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology and a minor in mathematics. She participated in a variety of activities while at SUNY Oswego, which included serving as the chief meteorologist at the college’s television station WTOP-10 TV.
