Liverpool CSD Middle Level iReady Diagnostic
Friday, September 18, 2020 -
Dear Liverpool CSD Middle School Families,
In a normal school year, your child would be taking the i-Ready Math and Reading Diagnostic Test in school. But not much about this school year is normal. Therefore, we need to work as partners on the i-Ready Diagnostic Tests. Instead of taking this test in school, we need all students to take the Math Test, at home, on Wednesday, September 23rd, and the Reading Test, at home, on Wednesday, September 30th.
Please take a few moments to watch this video to explain more about the i-Ready Test: Video #1
Here is a resource you can use to help you be prepared on Wednesday: Family Checklist
Prior to Wednesday, your child’s math teacher will be sure that students know how to access the app on the Classlink Launchpad and the icon for i-Ready is pictured below. If your child has testing accommodations, his/her case manager will be sure they know how to access their accommodations or may reach out to you.
Teachers will connect with students on both Wednesday mornings for a Homeroom at the start of Period 1. Then it will be expected that your child will complete the diagnostic test, in reasonable chunks, throughout the day. Some teachers may also provide some activities to do at home but those will be optional. Again, Wednesday the 23rd will be the Math Test only and Wednesday the 30th will be the Reading Test only.
If you have questions, please contact your child’s math or ELA teacher.
Thank you for partnering with us at home to make this possible. You’ll receive a reminder about this on Tuesday, September 22nd, and Tuesday, September 29th.
