LHS Casting Hall to Present ‘The Crucible’
Monday, November 2, 2015
Liverpool High School Casting Hall will present Arthur Miller’s The Crucible on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, at 7 p.m. in the LHS Auditorium.
This classic tale, read by high school students nationwide, explores incidents occurring centuries ago in the Puritan village of Salem, Massachusetts. In 1692, claims of witchcraft are not to be taken lightly and the hysteria that ensues leads to the downfall of many in this community.
The themes of Miller’s popular play are timeless and will make audience members ponder what good or evil may come when human emotions of jealousy, fear and revenge are set loose and neighbors turn on one another.
More than 45 students are hard at work rehearsing and building the set for the production.
Tickets are general admission and cost $8. They will be on sale at the door prior to each show.
