BOE Seeks Nominees for Distinguished Service Award

The Liverpool Central School District Board of Education is seeking nominees for the 2016 Liverpool BOE Distinguished Service Award. Nomination forms are due by May 1.
The award was created as a way to recognize outstanding and long-standing commitment, contributions, interest, dedication, achievement and/or community service.
The award will be presented to an individual or organization that meets one or more of the following criteria:
- Has made a significant and positive impact on our community (the village of Liverpool, the towns of Clay or Salina, or the county of Onondaga) and who has made a difference in the lives of our residents and/or students
- Has brought honor or positive public recognition to our community
- Has made significant contributions or has enriched the quality of life, vitality, health, welfare, success or diversity of our community
- Is otherwise determined to be worthy of such an award.
Award recipients will be considered, selected and awarded at the sole discretion of the Board of Education. The recipient will be selected using the award criteria. It is not a requirement for the recipient be a graduate of Liverpool High School.
